why are we doing it:
Medilinks recognises a large amount of information applicable to developing nations, ranging from public health to specialist medical information is available in electronic form at a number of western institutions. Although these institutions are willing to share this information with their African counterparts there aren't enough resources in place to effectively share this information.

For decades, African healthcare professionals have been generating valuable research and knowledge in respect of their regional, national and local areas. With the near collapse of a number of African economies, medical professionals have found avenues such as traditional publishing research and subscribing to medical journals, holding conferences or workshops to exchange ideas far too expensive and much of this information has been locked away.
